TERI in collaboration with Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) conducted a closed workshop on 25th November, aimed at facilitating Electric Vehicle pilots in Municipal Solid Waste Management (SWM) in Surat. The workshop was attended by civil society members from Surat, officials from SWM department at SMC and several Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) including Ashok Leyland, TATA Motors, Volvo Eicher, Mahindra, Piaggio and Vidhyut-EVs.
